In  addition, several of  our WordPress sites also required upgrades to  their &#8220;Akismet&#8221; plugins.<\/p>\n<p>All this work has now been successfully completed with no server   downtime. The entire server is currently being RSync&#8217;d to a  remote server.<\/p>\n<h2>Goodbye DEOSS Moodle<\/h2>\n<p>Also we wave goodbye, at least for a while, to DEOSS Moodle. It started life back in 2006 as a pilot project  for Wessex Deanery. Since then it has spawned a number of new Moodle  projects including:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"NEBDNMoodle\" href=\"http:\/\/nebdn.deoss.net\/\" target=\"_top\">NEBDN Moodle<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Wessex Dental Training Ltd\" href=\"http:\/\/wessexdentaltraining.org\/moodle\" target=\"_top\">Wessex Dental Training Ltd<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Wessex Moodle\" href=\"http:\/\/moodle.wessex.org.uk\/\" target=\"_top\">Wessex Moodle<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Therefore the original DEOSS Moodle had rather outlived its  usefulness.
