This is a brief news blog to keep all our users informed about major changes and modifications to the server. It saves having to email everybody! Unfortunately this sort of information is of little value to casual visitors – hence why we have asked Google not to index this particular blog.
NB. This weblog only records “major incidents” – i.e. those that affect our customers directly. It does not record the day-to-day routine maintenance, software upgrades and nightly off-site backups. That sort of stuff is literally too boring for words! 🙂 Besides, describing such work in any detail publicly might also compromise the security of the site.
